Alpha APAC Conference

The Alpha APAC Conference exists to create a space where disciples of Jesus Christ from all across the region can come together to dream, discern, and be renewed in God’s vision for their lives, churches, and cities. With focus on Missions, Evangelism & Church Planting, our hope is for the Church to arise and be ignited with the mandate of the Great Commision.
We gather united by a common calling to share the Gospel, reach the lost, and enable everyone everywhere to discover and develop a relationship with Christ. Now is the time for the Church to arise and lay hold of that which is in front of us, and open our eyes to see the fields that are ripe for the harvest.
Across two days, you will hear from global voices and regional pioneers who are shaping the future of evangelism, missions and church planting. Through prophetic messages, stories of faith, and times of inspiring worship, we will explore how we can partner with the Spirit to see revival across Asia Pacific and beyond.

NICKY GUMBEL
Pioneer, Alpha Course

Nicky, together with his wife Pippa, are the pioneers of Alpha, an introduction to the Christian faith running in churches of all denominations in 140 countries. Nicky has written several best-selling books including Why Jesus?, Questions of Life, and The Jesus Lifestyle. Having initially trained as a barrister, Nicky went on to be Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton, a large central London church, for 17 years. Nicky and Pippa now work to support Alpha globally. They are also the authors of a daily Bible commentary called the ‘Bible in One Year’ which has over two million global subscribers.

Cardinal Pablo Virgilio "Ambo" David is a Filipino Catholic prelate known for being a biblical scholar and a vocal advocate for social justice and human rights. He was ordained a priest in 1983 and later earned a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Catholic University of Louvain. He became Bishop of Kalookan in 2016, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) in 2021, and was elevated to Cardinal in December 2024.

Miles Toulmin

Miles Toulmin, CEO of Alpha International, recently returned to the UK after 10 years of ministry as the vicar of Holy Trinity Bukit Bintang (HTBB) in Kuala Lumpur. Miles studied at Oxford University and then spent 10 years working for a consumer goods multinational company. He then returned to Oxford to study theology before being ordained an Anglican minister.

Dato' Kathleen Chew is the Group Legal Counsel of the YTL Group. and Programme Director of the YTL Foundation, a foundation working to provide equitable access to quality education and development of capable values driven leaders. She is the Chair of Alpha Malaysia and is also a trustee of Alpha International and St Paul’s Theological College in London. She sits on the boards of various Malaysian charities, the Asia Philanthropy Circle in Singapore and Acumen Fund, Inc, New York. She is also Chairperson of Hospis Malaysia.

Vinnie is currently the Executive Director of Alpha Asia Pacific, having spent many years prior to this overseeing the development of Alpha in North East Asia and developing the global Chinese work.
Prior to serving in Alpha, Vinnie ran her own family business in food manufacturing and distribution. She also led the ‘Grace Blessing Projects’ and developed tools for Christians to participate in community penetration with an evangelistic message. Over 200 churches in Singapore and Malaysia participated in this project between 1998 and 2008. Today, she continues to be passionate about evangelism, excited to hear transformed life stories.

The Alpha Workplace Summit gathers leaders who are passionate about reaching people where they spend most of their waking hours – the workplace.

This exclusive one-day event brings together leaders from diverse industries and ministries to connect, learn, and incubate ideas on how to bring faith into the heart of every sphere of influence. Through inspiring talks, real-life stories, and practical workshops, you will explore how God is moving in the workplace today and how Alpha can be a tool to create spaces of transformation where we work.

Alpha exists to partner with the local church to create spaces where people can explore life, faith, and meaning in a safe, open, and welcoming environment. Our vision compels us towards evangelisation of nations, revitalisation of the Church, and the transformation of society.

Through The Alpha Course, The Marriage and Parenting courses, and many other products, Alpha equips churches and organisations to reach people outside their walls and invite them into community. Our offerings to the body of Christ, contextualised into many languages, have enabled believers worldwide to reach more than 35 million people with the gospel, inviting them to discover and develop a relationship with Jesus.

Who should attend this conference?
The Alpha APAC Conference is for anyone passionate about seeing lives transformed through the gospel. Whether you’re a church leader, Alpha host, volunteer, or someone exploring to reach your community, this gathering is for you!
What can I expect from the conference?
Expect a powerful time of worship, inspiring messages, and practical sessions and labs that will strengthen your faith and leadership. You will hear stories of what God is doing across the nations and connect with like-minded believers to be refreshed in your vision and purpose.
When and where is AAC2026 taking place?
AAC2026 will be held from 1-2 July 2026 at Megastar Arena in Kuala Lumpur.
How can I register for the event?
Registration can be done directly from our website through any of the “Register” buttons. Early bird registration will be available until 28 February 2026. Be sure to register early to secure your spot and take advantage of discounted rates.
How much does the conference cost?
Early Bird Ticket (Register by 28 Feb 2026) & Youths 18 and under: RM160 per person
Regular Ticket (Register after 28 Feb 2026): RM200 per person
Group Booking (For 10 persons and above): RM180 per person
What is included in the conference fees?
The conference fee covers full access to all main sessions, labs, and program materials. Please note that accommodation, travel expenses and meals are not included and should be arranged separately by participants.
What language will the conference be conducted in?
The conference will be primarily conducted in English.
What languages will interpretation be available in?

Can I pick where I want to sit?
We offer free-seating on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the conference. We strongly advise arriving at the conference venue early to secure the best seats in the house.
Can I buy a one-day ticket?
There is no one-day conference pass available. To fully benefit from the complete experience and all the sessions offered at AAC2026, we encourage attendees to register for the entire conference.
When and how will I receive my tickets?
You will receive your tickets via email once your registration is confirmed. All tickets will be issued electronically and no physical tickets will be distributed. Please have your mobile phone ready, with tickets downloaded, when you arrive at the conference venue. This will help to streamline the check-in process and ensure a smooth start to your conference experience. Alternatively, you may also choose to print your tickets out ahead of time and have them on hand.
Can you send me an invoice so that I can pay for my ticket/group of tickets?
Payment is required to complete your registration, so no invoices will be issued for tickets. Instead, you will receive a receipt confirming your payment after your registration has been completed. This receipt will serve as your proof of purchase. Should you require any assistance, please email aac@alpha.org.
Can I bring my luggage into the conference hall?
There will be no designated area for baggage deposit at the conference venue. We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of baggage and belongings should you decide to bring your luggage to the conference venue. We highly recommend making alternative arrangements for storing your luggage outside of the conference venue (such as at your hotel concierge) to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free experience during the event.
Are there recommendations for accommodation?
Yes! We are in the midst of compiling a list of partnering hotels that will offer preferential rates exclusively for our conference guests. It will include a range of options to suit a variety of budgets and preferences, all conveniently located near the event venue. Keep a lookout as we release more information very soon!
Is AAC2026 suitable for children?
We apologize that AAC2026 is not designed to accommodate children. It is curated for youths aged 14 and above, and adults who would benefit from fully participating in the conference sessions and workshops. Should you need to bring along your child, please note that tickets are required for children who need their own seat. Thank you for your kind understanding.
I changed my mind or am now unable to make it for the conference. Can I get a refund?
Sometimes plans change and we understand! However, we practice a no-refund policy once tickets have been sold. We would highly recommend finding someone to take your ticket (and thereby amending the details of your ticket to reflect the correct attendee) or blessing someone with it!
